Nicole Rutter-Hirth

Nicole has been an attorney since 2006. She received her undergraduate degrees from Bowling Green State University and her law degree from the University of Toledo. She worked in various capacities of the legal system as a student, including for various Lucas County court agencies and two law firms. After moving to the Dayton area in 2006, and being sworn in as an attorney, Nicole worked for a law firm for ten years, handling family law, appellate and criminal cases.

After a decade of practice, and wanting to focus her practice, she acquired the Gump Law Offices with her current partner, Chris Deal. As a result, Nicole focuses her practice on family law and basic estate planning. Nicole spends nearly every day in court representing clients in divorces and custody matters, adoptions, and all other areas of family law. She also assists clients with basic estate planning. Nicole has served as a chair on the Dayton Bar Association, Family Law section, has presented at various seminars/CLEs, and written articles on family law topics. She has handled several unique issues in family court, including handling one of the first same-sex divorces in Montgomery County. Nicole operates her practice with the idea that any client is potentially facing their hardest day at any given moment, and she treats clients with that in mind.
